NOMAD 200 HIGHLIGHTS

    • Protective Enclosure Four monocrystalline panels enclosed in a protective case fold down to a compact profile for easy storage. Hanging loops allow you to strap the panel to vehicles, tents, and more.
    • Secure Placement Built-in legs pop out to stabilize the panel while solar charging and fasten in place against the panel when not in use. Each leg features a stake-down loop for added security.

THREE WAYS TO RECHARGE

  • FROM THE SUN
    Recharge from the sun by connecting a compatible solar panel. Charge times are dependent on the size of the solar panel. A single Nomad 200 will provide 200W of solar and fully recharge the Yeti 3000X in 18-36 hours of sun.
  • FROM THE WALL
    Plug it into the wall. Fully recharges in 14 hours using the included 230W Power Supply AC Wall Charger. Not quick enough? Drop your recharge time to 6 hours using the available 600W Power Supply.
  • FROM THE CAR
    The Goal Zero Yeti 3000X can be charged by plugging into your 12V adapter using the Goal Zero Yeti Lithium 12V Car Charging Cable. NOTE: Do not attempt to charge your Yeti Lithium from a 12V source using a regular charging cable. Doing so may cause damage to the unit.

HOW IT ALL GOES TOGETHER

Setup is quick and easy. Place the solar panels outdoors in good, direct sunlight. If you have multiple panels, use the Combiner Cables to connect them. Need extra reach? Use the optional Extension Cable to extend your range. The cables and connecters are plug-and-play. Simply match the shape of the plug to the shape of the connector. Plug directly into the input of your Yeti and enjoy endless power!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I know if my Goal Zero Yeti is charged?

    To check the charge level of your Goal Zero Yeti, refer to the Battery Display. When lit up, you’ll see a battery outline with 5 segments, indicating the current charge level. It is OK to use your Goal Zero Yeti even when it’s not fully charged.

  • How long will the Yeti run my device?

    Please refer to our runtime chart at https://www.goalzero.com/product-features/portable-power-stations/#chargetime. Here’s a quick and dirty lesson in power: All Goal Zero power products have a number in their name, ex. Venture 30, Flip 36, Goal Zero Yeti 500X. These numbers refer to the Watt Hours (Wh), or the amount of energy that can be stored in each battery, and can help estimate how long your gear will run from each power bank or power station. For example, a 500Wh battery should run a 100W light for 5 hours (500/100=5). If your gear falls within the 500Wh capacity of the Yeti, you’ll want to check the restrictions on each of the output ports. When you’re deciding on what to power from your new Goal Zero power bank or power station, it’s helpful to look into your device’s wattage consumption.

  • Are the Nomad Solar Panels waterproof?

    Yes. The Nomads are able to withstand the elements, but the larger Nomad panels are housed within a protective fabric enclosure that will wear faster if left outside permanently, unlike the Boulders. What you’re recharging from the Nomads is what needs to stay dry, so keep those power banks and power stations covered up and protected from the dust, rain, and snow.
